iPad battery replacement

Apple announced in a support bulletin that should a battery fail, with numerous disclaimers the iPad will be replaced with another iPad. The replacement could be new or refurbished. It will be necessary to make sure all your data has been synced in iTunes before sending in for a replacement iPad er, battery.
