iPad

Well the iPad has been announced and with about 45 days left before availablity people are still trying to figure out how to use it. First off it is not a replacement for any computer. This appears with current software and harware to be a new 'type' of mobile device. One that has no true phone call capability. Yes talk of VOIP is possible but not the primary purpose. I like Apple providing choices for WiFi and/or 3GS. Just coming back from a trip and staying at one hotel that charged 14.95 per day for internet access. The iPad with a non-contract 3G connection for one month would have saved money!! For travel web access, e-mail, iWork 10, and all the available applications will geive the iPad a niche
